Hi All,
Today we are in Papeete. It really is a pretty place. This is a shot from the ship as we were docking.
We did not have a tour planned today. Instead we did a lot of walking around the town. It was very hot and humid. This is the very large market that we stopped at for some souvenir shopping.
Some of you (you know who you are!) have asked for local food pictures. We really haven’t eaten much off the ship, but tonight we did. These food trucks are called Le Roulotte and they were set up right in front of our ship. They are here every night and are quite popular.
We had this very tasty chicken, shrimp, and beef stir fry.
As we walked back to the ship, it was all lit up and waiting for us.
So, we had a fun day here. We are really looking forward to tomorrow in Bora Bora. We have a tour planned which will start with some snorkeling and then will go to a Motu (a small island) for a pig roast. Should be fun. So long for now.

Big Jer and Helen, So glad you are having a terrific time. I've read the entire blog and it is inspiring. Loved the pic of the map showing where you are going. Now that you've mastered walking and spin classes I expect to hear that you're on to Bikram yoga!
