Hi All,
Just a quick post to update our progress. Today we were supposed to stop at Rarotonga Island. This remote place is part of the Cook Islands. This is what it looked like as we approached.
Unfortunately this is a close as we got to the island. The sea conditions were too rough to use the tenders to get us to shore. So we anchored for about half and hour and sailed on. We are now sailing to New Zealand and will arrive there on Thursday, Feb 19. That’s four sea days, so we might not be posting much until we get to New Zealand.
All is well here on the Serenity. Tonight we are going to dinner with six new friends to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
